Mundan Puja

Mundan Puja, also known as Chudakarana Sanskar, is a traditional Hindu ritual in which a child’s first hair is shaved off, usually performed in the first or third year of life. It is considered one of the 16 essential Hindu samskaras (sacraments).

This sacred ritual is believed to purify the child of past birth’s karma, promote healthy hair growth, and protect the child from evil eyes or negative energies. The ceremony is performed with Vedic mantras and blessings from family and elders.
