Ketu Grah
Ketu Grah is the South Node of the Moon and a shadow planet (Chhaya Grah) in Vedic astrology. Ketu signifies spirituality, detachment, enlightenment, moksha (liberation), intuition, past karma, and non-materialistic tendencies.
When positively placed, Ketu gives strong spiritual growth, psychic abilities, wisdom, and detachment from material desires. When negatively placed, it can cause confusion, detachment from reality, depression, accidents, or loss of direction. To pacify its malefic effects, devotees perform Ketu Grah Shanti Puja.
Main Rituals of Ketu Grah Shanti
- Chanting of Ketu Beej Mantra 17,000 times or through Brahmins: "Om Shram Shreem Shroum Sah Ketave Namah".
- Offering grey or black-colored flowers and sesame in flowing water.
- Worshipping Lord Ganesha or Lord Bhairava.
- Donating items like blankets, sesame seeds, or multi-colored cloth.
- Performing Ketu Havan with proper samidha and offerings.
Ketu Grah Puja brings clarity, removes fear and depression, enhances spiritual awareness, and protects from sudden misfortunes or detachment from family.
